Most people know me as Stigmata, but my real name is <a href="https://jonathanvair.com" target="_blank">Jonathan Vair Duncan</a>. I was a budding commercial art hopeful who burnt out and found an immense amount of purpose in the furry fandom, where I still work to this day. I also do a lot of volunteering, learning, and writing. I try and be the kind of person I wish I had in my life years ago, and then I take that energy and try to point it into the needs of others. Oh, okay. So you're an artist. Yeah, that's part of it. When I do commissions, I really and truly want to make a difference in my client's life. I find the best way to do that is to listen deeply to them and be willing to fall in love with their ideas. As much as I like that, I'm also at the mercy of the world I live in. I do a lot of volunteering, a lot of learning, and I try to normalize making mistakes in the process of being a better steward of my time.
