Thanks for the reply, I don't think i'm gonna get a new laptop anytime soon however..

I was very excited to play this game but after the nun scene my screen became all black, I can go in my inventory but I can't see anything. I've seen multiple people report the same issue but none of the things you suggested to do seemed to work. I hope you're able to fix it soon, this game looks awesome and I'd love to give it a try!
