The journal aims to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research in artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive neuroscience, child development, and educational practice, an interdisciplinary science about how we learn and teach during the AI and digital era. Its mission is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, advance scientific understanding, and inform evidence-based educational strategies. In particular, its focus is on enhancing educational practices and outcomes across the lifespan—from thriving youngsters to adults—through providing key insights from cutting-edge neuroscientific studies.

It is an open-access, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original studies, commentaries, opinions, and reviews on neuroscientific research that stands to inform and improve educational assessment, practice, and policy during the AI and digital era. The journal’s unique organizational and editorial structure allows for contributions from scientists and educators, and its novel format is designed to promote meaningful dialogue across all related disciplines.
