This book provides a unique history of the Porcelain Road against the backdrop of Chinese and Western cultural exchanges. About the author
Dr Chongnian Yan is a leading researcher in the Manchu Institute of Beijing Academy of Social Sciences, President of Beijing Manchu Research Foundation, Vice President of Chinese Society of the Forbidden City (CSFC), and a main Lecturer in the CCTV show Lecture Room. His lectures include “The mystery of 12 Qing Emperors”, ”Fall of Ming and Rise of Qing in 60 Years”, “The Great Emperor Kangxi” and “The Forbidden City” series.
