- Those pesky tricksters! A really solid submission overall. I really loved the sliding front door. I also think it would've been really cool to have windows near the front door to see the the character walking up.

Very spooky, I liked it! Each of the kids had interesting dialog, and the atmosphere was pretty spooky. When the thunder started playing on repeat, I had to turn down the volume because I was expecting a jumpscare or something haha!
Overall very good! If you were to continue this project, I'd consider adding more things around the house for more environmental storytelling. It'd give the player something to do while waiting for the next kid to ring the doorbell. It looks like you already had that in mind, with the old man's food laying around the house.
Help!! I couldn't dismiss the initial dialog. I looked at it and pressed the trigger. I tried pressing everything else too, while looking at it. Nothing seems to get rid of it. the doorbell rang, but I couldn't interact with the door or do anything. I used Steam VR with HTC Vive, on Windows 10 Pro.
Ok, I figured it out. This time I used Oculus and found that the initial dialog only dismisses if you point at the word "ok" and press the trigger. The rest of the dialogs from the other characters can be advanced by pressing the trigger anywhere on them.
These trick-or-treaters sure have a lot to say!
Thanks Andy! I didn't have time to polish, so sorry about that. And kudos for getting through it. :)
I had the same issue with HTC Vive, pointing at "OK" and pulling the trigger/other buttons didn't do anything.
I think there is a bug with the framework I used (VR Interaction Framework). I noticed it too - sometimes when you play the game, it doesn't appear to raycast correcly. :/
