Summarise your game!
Our goal was to make roguelike about ghost trying to get back to his body. The idea was to become a poltergeist that could possess items and fight enemies and get upgrades as he progresses. That way he would become the weapon.
We weren't able to implement possession, so we let you choose between a sword and a book.
Press 1 to be a ghost. Press 2 to be a sword. Press 3 to be a magic book. WASD to move. Click to attack.
We're really proud of what we've made, even if it isn't finished.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Our game is about a ghost who can possess objects and become the weapon himself. We took the theme literally. The ghost becomes the weapon.
I should note that we weren't able to get the possession mechanic working, but that's the idea. We still wanted to submit what we had.

Hey there! I really enjoyed checking out Polterguy. I saw the cover art and title and noticed we had similar ideas, as my own game Polterheist also features a little ghost that can possess things. Your idea of possessing weapons to fight enemies is super creative. The book felt especially powerful, while the sword felt a bit underpowered in comparison. I also thought the artwork was fantastic and I loved the style. Great work, and I'd love to see some more areas with additional enemies types to fight!
I feel the ghost is kinda cute! But you can keep up with horror vibe anyways. It fits well with game! I like the gameplay concept so adding item and making it more rogue-likely for future update might help.
The character is so cute and the map changes every time I play it. I love it! Hope the gameplay time goes more longer, because it is really fun and cute game to play!
I paused the game and found the controls but you should really teach the player the controls. However, you've got the beginnings of a really nice game here! Good job!!
