Summarise your game!
You play a skeleton guided by a witty wizard to try and complete your quest. Your bones are your health and ammo so they must be used wisely to traverse the levels and defeat enemies.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You start as a skeleton with “no bones” (ribs). Bones can be found throughout the levels as well as drop from enemies killed with bones. This provides a unique twist on the Mario mechanic in which your only method of damaging enemies is also your health, literally making you the weapon. The player must traverse platformer levels to make it to the boss. The game is loosely “narrated” by a witty wizard who guides you throughout the game.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
We were quite happy with being able to animate the number of bones on the player sprite itself. Although small, we thought it added a nice tough for those that noticed. We have also never implemented a boss fight or similar mechanic into a game so we hope you enjoy it.

Fun and cute. The bone throwing felt really good. Would have definitely played more levels if there were some :)

Did you make it to credits and go back to main menu and start new game? I can replicate issue that way, do you mean on your first play through you were able to move immediately when in the cave and the wizard is talking?
Went back and tested, if I die and respawn at the start I am able to move immediately when the wizard is talking and the enemy spawned as soon as I picked up the bone so I was fighting and jumping at the same time as the wizard's dialogue boxes were coming thru.
