Really nice for a first entry! On theme, cool art and audio. The main drawback is the lack of complexity.
Edit: I also think the font is hard to read.
Yeaaaaah... if you ever played Balatro a poker rouge like I wanted to make a Euchre rouge like but well fell short on time and just made this I'm not mad with myself just disappointed. thanks for the comment through and don't worry I will try to actually use a legible font next time.
For a first game ever that's impressing ! I would love to enjoy a small fun mechanic twist and not a pure implementation of a real game but it's still an excellent work. Good job !!
Thanks for the comment! If you can believe me I actually had some more plans for it but I just ran out of the in the end and even submitted late… while it is slightly different than the original game I do agree it is a bit bland. Still thank you!

This does not feel like a first-jam kinda game, you’ve got a lot of polish, everything looks great, nothing feels clunky or out of place, great stuff! Great implementation of the theme and special object too! Good choice with the crackling and the candle to add to the ambiance.

Euchre is a fun game outside of my game so I’m glad you took the time to learn it!
Nicely done! It works really well (for someone that knows euchre at least) and looks solid. I wish there was more to it than just playing euchre, tho. I also found the font difficult to read.
Yes! Some one who actually played euchre before! I’m going to be honest the font isn’t even a font it’s just a picture I drew in pixel art so I had to take some creative liberties like with my e… thanks for the info though!
Great sound and pixel art! I think the words are a bit hard to read in the instructions and key, but it's readable enough :P I also noticed you can spam the cards in your hand, which is probably unintended and cause a loss. Had an enjoyable time!
Yeah I noticed the spamming thing as well but I had like an hour left and no sound so I just didn’t have time lol. And sorry about the words I didn’t even write anything those were drew on Asprite. Still glad you liked it!

Those sounds cost me and made me run over time honestly. I'm glad they were well received.
This is basically Durak but as a game and different power levels, having different power levels of cards than usual made it more confusing tbh, also not obvious which card is the lead card.
However for the first game ever this is a really good entry, keep going!
Yeah, If I had more time I would have made a more interesting tutorial for it. And maybe added some visuals to make things seem more simple, but still thank you for the comment!

I do not know how to play euchre so it took a bit of figuring out on my end to be able to play it, a tutorial would be nice
I don't really see how it relates to the theme of one ability though. Though this is a fun game nonetheless and deserves more ratings

This is a great card game in the making! Only things I can say is that it definitely needs a tutorial as dumb people (like me) have no idea what they are doing but placing cards. Regardless it was very fun to win and the game loop is great. Good job.
