Did you work in a team?
1 to rule them all.
Was the resolution a challenge?
Absofreakinlutely! Haven't worked in 2D in Unity in a long time, let alone a very restricted space!
What did you learn?
Spending too much time on a custom system (like the text system) can eat A LOT of time. It can be better to make things more dynamic and easily customizable, but in a game jam, you have little time, and you might need to hardcode some things to get it done.

I had a hard time wrapping my head around what to do in this game, and I still don't think I really know what I am doing. With that being said, I really liked the presentation, the music and art really portrayed a happy little restaurant. Nice job! I just feel like the game needs a proper in game tutorial.
Thanks for playing! Yeah I wish I had a tutorial but I didn't have time :( I tried putting into in the page but I think it was too much info to absorb. Next time!
So elaborate a design! Charming aesthetic from the visuals and music. I'm impressed you got all the text to fit through scrolling, but I'd appreciate it if each type of item in the order appeared as the graphic of the item rather than text, so it can take less space and require less scrolling.
Thanks for playing! I was actually was debating on using images with text in the chat box but the way I implemented it was not possible. It took a few days to just get where it is right now! And it's not perfect but it serves it's purpose, or so I hope it does!
this is a fun little cooking game! I like how the cooking part of it wasn't overly complicated. It took me a little while to figure out how the game works because there isn't much in terms of hints or tutorials
Thanks for playing! I really wish I had time to implement a much needed tutorial.
I was actually thinking of having the player also 'cook' the food to the right of the screen (hence the gap on right wall), but I didn't have time to implement that. That would definitely make it more challenging!
