you got a cool vibe here! I agree with the others that the movement could have a bit more accelleration, although I guess that is probably also tied to the balancing of the game. The upgrades were a nice touch as well. Also the music fit very well

Yeah I think there is a narrow line between feeling drifty and feeling slippery, and we're just a little bit in the slippery category. Probably having a faster acceleration but faster obstacles would make for a tighter experience

Morphing a car between forms is cool, and that transition between road and sky is smooth.  Also really like how vibrant the other visuals are. I felt like my movement speed could do with a little boost as once i happened to miss a powerup, there was no hope of adjusting my speed to catch it again.

Yeah I've noticed this as well, looking back I think I should have made movement speed more directional, such that it was quicker to fall back than to move forward (in both forms). I wanted the movement of the car to feel different than the plane so I made it acceleration based rather than constant speed, but it looks like a lot of people found it too floaty/slippery.

I think it would be nice to have a way to intentionally speed up the car or just have some tighter controlling of the car in general! I really liked the vibe of the game and endless runners are some of my favorites.

We were going to have a boost button in car form but couldn't get it to feel good, so we took it out. But we were thinking the same thing!

I agree with the comments on the car control feeling a little strange. I enjoyed the plane mode and would have preferred just to stay in the air :) I appreciated how the art, gameplay, and sound all fit together really well.

Nice art and music. I definitely preferred the plane mode to the driving mode. The air combat was pretty fun

The metamorphosis take was great -- a perspective and gameplay shift at the same time made for an awesome moment. I agree that the car controls could be a bit tighter and quicker, but it's a minor area in a game that is otherwise really polished (visuals, sound, etc.). Nice work!

Love the graphics in this game. I really like the retro look and feel. Changing up the gameplay after the "metamorphosis" was a good idea as well. Great job!

Unique visual style, good job! I think the controls could be improved upon, the car felt a bit slow to respond sometimes. Nonetheless, great submission. Especially the morph transition was impressive 👏.

I'm not sure if I died at the end (There weren't any enemies on screen), or if that was the end of the game.

The game is supposed to loop after beating the boss, it sounds like it might have crashed
