How does your game fit the theme?
The game is themed and structured around "Calm before the Storm". It has a eerily calm preparation time and then a shorter, stressful (scary) "storm" phase. There is also a literal and figurative storm, which is the serial killer JJ and the thunderclap that announces his entry.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost entirely, I have the rights to use the A* pathfinding project in replacement for Unity's default pathfinding, and this is a very minor feature, all else was coded by myself exclusively, and 3D models made by my brother.

Great tension and atmosphere in this horror game! The concept of sneaking and hiding was executed well, and the sound design really amplified the suspense. More directional cues for JJ’s location would enhance the experience, but overall, it’s a thrilling ride. Nicely done!
I couldn't beat JJ :( , a very fun game and I can see the efforts you put in. I just wish more people play as it is an excellent submission, nicely done!
I'm usually OKAY with horror games but this one stressed me out haha. Mentioning windows and lights were a great idea because I got super paranoid walking past windows... The graphics were excellent, especially for being all made by your brother, and the voice acting was perfect. Waiting in your hiding spot while he walks around is really tense too... Great job on this, you clearly put a lot of work in and it paid off!

i wish there was some kind of an indicator for where jj is located because it was hard to understand that from only the sound of him and got me killed several times...
other than that i enjoyed it a lot! it was cool, had pretty nice graphics and audio and fitted the theme pretty well too!
Yeah he has unused footstep sounds that were scrapped because I ran out of time, that would have helped greatly in tracking. He can hear your footsteps, so walking around while he is in the building is extremely dangerous, but possible for short distances (also depends on the type of floor)

the house is a bit small, and he is fast, so it made me not even think about using the shift button when i found out about it...
i did enjoy the game a lot though! would love to see more works from you guys and try them!
Really enjoyed it, the tension before he comes in was really well executed, Really liked the voice acting too. Especially the bad ending dialogue.
I suggest making some more events during the hide phase though. After he checked my room once I was just staring at the door waiting for something to happen

The atmosphere was actually pretty scary for me. I am not really a horror kind of person and just alt+F4'd after the guy caught me lmao. The lighting does a lot for the game. Good job!

Very over the top voice actor for JJ and the ending was hilarious. interesting idea where you remove items to reduce the amount he looks for you.
It is the typical little horror game where you have to hide and flee from the murderer. The game is entertaining and the voice snippets and the killer himself are funny and give the game a silly character. Enjoyable game :)
