How does your game fit the theme?
The game is themed and structured around "Calm before the Storm". It has a eerily calm preparation time and then a shorter, stressful (scary) "storm" phase. There is also a literal and figurative storm, which is the serial killer JJ and the thunderclap that announces his entry.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Almost entirely, I have the rights to use the A* pathfinding project in replacement for Unity's default pathfinding, and this is a very minor feature, all else was coded by myself exclusively, and 3D models made by my brother.

Very Cool!

Alright I don't know if I just picked an op spot (pallets in the garage), but I just sat there and got the neutral ending so I didn't manage to meet JJ face to face, but overall great job on the atmosphere, I just wish there would be an actuall incentive to leave hiding and do more sneaking around the house as I missed a more interactive playstyle for this game. Also give me a break with the audio balancing because the scariest thing that happened to me was the ending blowing my eardrums out.

Even if I don't normally like horror games, this was a good entry! I also liked how the house was structured

Damn bro too scary for me (Not a fan of horror/eerie themed games).. Like just designing dark levels is hard but you made them scary and mark me impressed. The voice lines were good, gave that sense of unease. Very polished and smooth to play.

Gonna play it again some morning and try to hide successfully(it's 2 am now, not gonna risk it xD)..

Kudos!! You made a great game.

I liked the concept of the game, but I think it was a little difficult for me.

The artistic section and the audio are quite well polished. great job! :D

pretty quirky lines. It's pretty ominous as you hear his messages while you're hiding.

Nice submission!

If he had green pants, he could have been a nerd version of Peter Griffin lol. Also the voice acting was on point  :)

Hopefully you'll also play mine https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-12/rate/2973690?after=20#post-10969722

Made me jump thats for sure. Pulling off an actual scary game in a week is impressive. Would love to see what other features you were looking to add.

Character controller was a little slide-y, but not bad overall.
Genuine jumpscare when I tried to leave the house.
Also, JJ's voice acting is hilarious. Love it.

I really enjoyed this :D Hilarious voice acting and the game mechanics were really cool. I also really like the randomness and replay value it has. Great job!
