Ranked from 32 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
The game reflects the theme by placing the player in the "calm" and methodical task of analyzing intelligence reports to prevent or postpone major crises, in this case the "storm".

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and created most assets myself, following some tutorials for some specific mechanics. However, the audio is sourced externally.

Very fun! The guidebook is a great resource, however I think the learning curve is still a bit tough when playing for the first time. The art and graphics look awesome and help build an atmosphere that the sound effects do a good job of supporting. I also recommend introducing some background music to help keep things fresh and engaging.

Overall, great work!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Having the learning curve smoother was definitely something I wanted to improve but didn't have enough time. To be honest the background music was on my to do list but I actually forgot about it.

No problem! And fair enough, it still turned out great and I can totally relate as there were features our team wanted to implement in our game that didn't make it since we ran out of time as well.

Well done! Needs a fullscreen! Love the robotic-voice.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! It was supposed to have fullscreen, and when I tested it, it worked, so there might be a bug there. For the robotic voice, I used SAM (https://discordier.github.io/sam/), which is the same tool used in the game Faith.

Okay, love it! :D

Nice art and game!
It will be better, if we can play in fullscreen, becouse the text is tiny sometimes.

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you liked the art and game! It’s supposed to run in fullscreen, but it seems like there’s a bug. I agree about the text but if fullscreen worked the text should have been large enough.

I love your art, it's so nice!
But I don't think the theme fits well, I was attending for a "tempest" moment that never arrived. Also with the game over.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I’m really glad you like the art! The concept was more about preventing the tempest, in this case is the downfall of the nation. I initially wanted to have a more impactful moment, and I was hoping to include a little cinematic or something that fit better, but I ran out of time. I appreciate the feedback!
