Hey There!
I wanted to try and analyze every game in more detail, but unfortunately :( there's no time left for that, as there's only ONE hour left to vote, and there are still 200-300 games to go. So, my rating will be based on what I can see on the profile page (graphics, concept, description, etc.) to contribute a few points and help improve your chances! I'm not expecting a rating or anything in return since time runs out in an hour. It simply gives me peace of mind knowing that I was able to rate every game. :)
Wishing you all the best! ;)
That bear wasn't strong enough to handle my horns and screams
There's a lot of polish in this game, and I absolutely love the premise. The gameplay didn't really stick for me though. I like the concept of how you implemented the theme, but it made the game feel very passive, more like I was watching instead of playing. The balancing is also a bit off, since I very quickly got to the point where I was one hitting all the bosses (as a fighter class). I enjoyed my time with this one, and I'd love to see you take it further.
he game was really enjoyable. Good job on making it so smooth and polished!
Hi SovereignBagel !!!
You've been rated ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ and I’d love to see more of your game.I really like the idea of the game, who doesnt love being a Goat haha? and a Goat Gladiator.
Impressive visuals and I love the music. You're very, very, very creative!!!!
The take on the spin was a great idea too, I also believe your idea have lots of potential.
Please rate us back! Let’s lift each other up! 🚀
Like the idea and the goat screams in front of the crowd is hilarious. Good job.
the game is really fun, except i didnt understand how to attack... but that was my problem actually, anyway really good job the art was really amazing too!!
The attack system confused me as well, but I believe the goat just auto attacks when in range. And you can ensure that the game actually knows you want to be attacking by targeting the enemy (RMB) once you're in range.
Well I like the setting and the visuals, also the music is quite engaging but the constant screaming gets old very fast.
I chose the tank goat with half the chance of protection buff and that led to me being unkillable if I would stand in the AoE of the Boss. The boss itself couldn’t do sh** to me so I ended up standing in his attack area and waited for RNGJesus to roll an attack, but I couldn’t do any damage to him either as he seemed to roll also quite a lot of shield.
So I’m rather torn on the RGNJesus part of the battle. I mean the setting and the goat character is quite cool, but I would like to see a more active combat in it. Like let you goat equip some Gatling guns on her back or a giant mace which you could actively swing while in the near of a boss and that would make the goat fall to the ground, something hilarious and oversized. I think the setting would have the room for such things game-play and esthetic wise :)
Nevertheless, job well done!
hey thanks for the kind words, feedback, and ideas! (fan of hooking the goat up with gatling guns) The shield seems to be nowhere near balanced, leaving the player and boss sometimes unkillable. This is true that the player doesn't do much but position the goat, you have a good point of giving the player more to do in the combat. Thanks again
Game looks very good, and the idea is interesting where a wheel determining what action is taken is continuously done throughout the game. However, I could not figure out how to deal damage to the boss, and the only actions I could figure out was eating grass and dashing away from all of their attacks. Despite this, I think the game has potential so good job on this!
hey glad you liked the look! thanks for the feedback, hm maybe the attack was having some issues.
This was hilarious, goat sim arena? =D. I couldn't kill the bear though, he kept rolling shield, and heal a lot =/. Very fun concept and gameplay though :)
hey thanks for the kind words, glad you got a kick out of it! yeah the shield seems to be too strong lol
Love the idea and inspiration. But I felt a little confused at first at what was happening, I understood the mechanic but wasn't clear if it was working. The game needs a feel of heaviness to the hits and blocks. Audio queues would work perfectly and a better time to manage the "stance" we are on. Also, the first boss was always blocking so I spent 10min playing and did 0 dmg x) Maybe because I allowed him to gather way too much block meter, dunno...
hey thanks for the insightful feedback. I understand your confusion, there really is a lot going on in the game. It could use some simplification perhaps. The shield seems to be a bit broken as well leaving the boss pretty tanky. thanks for writing this review
That was hilarious! The sprint sound is something else. 😆
But the balance feels a bit off — picking the tank class lets you just stand there and occasionally dodge magic. Also, the gladiator boss kept spamming magic attacks, leaving nowhere to run.
Still, the concept is solid, and there’s a lot of potential to develop it further!
hey thanks for the kind words and feedback, glad you thought it was hilarious! I agree this needs much more balancing
The UI is too cluttered. Lack of audio feedback make it difficult to tell work is happening.
thanks for your feedback, i see what you’re saying
