How does your game represent "Power"?
As a robot who has gone rogue, the player can absorb electrical power from enemies to charge their power blast. The blast can also activate power acceptors to power and interact with the environment.

nice concept here! i liked that you made the collection of ammo an active part of combat - it's interesting balancing my fire between the infinite lightning and the more powerful bomb. additionally, the visual effects are incredible- really good vibe from this game. i do think the enemy ai can feel a bit frustrating- there doesn't seem to be much of a spawn radius, and enemies can clump up- it's hard to tell when engaging in a fight if you're getting killed quickly. the versatility in enemy types is really impressive though! and matches the player's toolkit quite well

I love fast paces gallery shooters. Awesome game, just the visuals for different things are blending into each other. Apart from that i like that one move has alot of use cases.

super fun, super cool+unique visual style. as others said, there could be some ui changes/tweaks to make ammo/health more clear.  Great job!

Seems pretty cool. I unfortunately wasn't able to get that far since my computer sucks :/

Developer

thank you for trying!

Your game has a unique look and feel. I wasn't sure how to tell what the status of my charge and/or health were. Would have been fun to have an overcharge mode with infinite rocket jumps, or some kind of platforming puzzle with the rocket jumps.

Thank you for playing! The ammo you have is displayed on your right arm, but I totally agree and we will make the health and stuff more clear

Really good! I like the dynamic of using the blast or using the drain. I wish there was some sort of dash mechanic to enhance the mobility a bit but overall very nice!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Totally agree, a dash or a slide is most definitely coming!

This is quite neat! Totally liked the art style and sound. Cool vibe!

It would be nice to have a health bar or something - I didn't quite get the feedback on when you get hit and how much damage you can sustain. But other than that - that was very well polished!

And kudos for Godot! I think that's the most stylish 3D Godot game I've seen on Jams :)

Developer

thanks so much for playing! Def agree, we will polish those things in the future!

Love the artstyle! Very cool pallete, I especially liked the nuclear POWER bomb enemies!

I loved the visuals, and the juice on killing enemies was great! The movement felt a little slow though, and the level thus felt a little too big when backtracking. All around, great entry tho!

Developer

thank you! in the future we will go for a more risk of rain style gameplay, and will definitely boost the speed, thanks for the feedback!

Oh my god wow. This was extremely fun like I got super invested. Gives some Ultrakill vibes. I am super impressed that this was made in a week. You and your team should be proud!

thank you so much for playing and the kind words!

Radical! And very painful when you mess up your rocket jump! :DDD

Submitted(+3)

awesome game, definitely filled my thirst for a risk of rain 2-like. :3 and of course, the aesthetic was awesome. glad u put this on the table, it was a great time.

Thank you for playing and having me on your stream!

This game looks so sick! The gameplay is also great! The only thing I felt was lacking was some mobility, like a dash for example (but maybe I'm just bad at rocket jumping). I felt so fast, but wasn't able to run away from enemies easily. But all in all fantastic game! Good job!

Developer(+1)

thanks so much for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed! Totally agree about mobility,  we wanted to add a slide/dash but ran out of time. Will definitely add it after the jam!

I love the aesthetics! The game plays super well and the action is pretty intense! Great job on managing to pull such an addictive game in a span of 10 days!

such cool visuals!! i love how u went about this one very awesome

Super cool! I thought the color scheme was a little odd at first but I think it's growing on me. I think the enemies tend to bunch up a bit too much, makes it hard to get where I need to be when I'm making sweeping circles to lure them out of the areas I need to platform around. But the controls are intuitive, responsive, and I enjoy how the robots sound like B1 battle droids in Star Wars. Great job!

Unique art style. Enjoyed how hectic things get and having to balance getting close and keeping distance from the enemies is neat.

Very fun game. I had a blast, but unfortunately ran into some performance issues. I managed to complete the story, and get to the maximum difficulty in endless though.

I really like the art style, the music and sound design. They all felt top notch. The gameplay was amazing too, I really enjoyed utilizing the force from enemy explosions to skip portions of the level. Endless was chaotic, but really fun too. I would definitely play an expanded version of this. Good work.

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

thanks so much for playing! We've solved the performance issues which we will update as soon as we can!

Wow, it is one of my top games so far! Good stuff. Alsoo, did you make the game in Unreal? Your shader appeared very similar to mine, which I picked up from a YouTube tutorial.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing, glad you liked it. We used Godot :)
