🐛 Describe the bug
The V1 engine core detects token-based stops (EOS, stop-token) but the detokenizer does not actually truncate the text of the EOS/stop-token from the output. This has the downstream effect of breaking tool-call unit tests due to control tokens polluting the model output.
Should fail with an assertion that 0 tool calls were detected but one was expected.
