If I ask GitHub Copilot to make a code change for me, it will produce the code. But when I ask it to then merge the changes in the editor, a new tab will open containing code that I was working on days ago, and it will add the changes into that completely unrelated code.
This is highly worrying because I do not know where its even getting the code from my older projects from. They are not open tabs. And of course, its not doing what it should, which is to merge the code into the tab that is already open.
I do make sure that I started a new chat window every time. Am I doing something wrong?
