How to put discription or alternative text on the tag "<a>" HTML?

I am unable to edit the parameters by source-code. For example:

<a href="/https://www.example.org"; alt="Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet">Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet</a>

I no found the different attribute than fits on parameter HTML. Just the attribute "alt" no works e neither refresh. Please! Help!

the alt attribute is not needed for a link.
If you want to add an alt for a image it would look like this:

<a href="/https://www.example.org"> <img src="e/https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/xample-image.jpg" alt="Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet"> </a>
