Allow *.tgz file format as release attachaments

Why can i upload files as *.tar.gz but not as *.tgz?
In https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/writing-on-github/working-with-advanced-formatting/attaching-files is says tgz extension is support, but i cant upload these files in issues or releases.

In issues is says <!-- Failed to upload "*.tgz" -->, in releases its buggy, and works sometimes, and sometimes shows "unsupported file type"

It’s probably a validation issue; maybe GitHub’s file handling treats *.tar.gz differently than *.tgz even though they’re equivalent—like hiring window cleaning services but being told they don’t handle skylights.
