When you delete an organization tied to a Team plan, the subscription often ends with it, reverting your account to the Free plan. However, GitHub Codespaces is available for Free plan users with certain limits. This maybe why you still have access to Codespaces despite the Free plan status. |

Hi @oceanblue42, When you deleted your organization, it might have affected your account status. Since you're still able to use Codespaces, it seems like some of your team account features are still active. To clarify your account status, you might need to recreate the organization. This should help you test Codespaces for your class. |

I upgraded to a team account, created an orgainazation but then deleted the orgainazation. My account profile says I have a free account but I am now able to use codespaces. I am so confused. Do I have a team account or do I have a free account? Do I need to just recreate an orgainazation? My objective is to try out codespaces to see if it will work for a class I'll be teaching next fall. I wanted to test out how easy it would be for students to either download files into codespaces or create repos from my template. If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be a great help. Just not sure what to do here.
