When businesses create an enterprise account on GitHub, they'll gain access to three premium benefits free for 30 days: GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Advanced Security, and Copilot Business. This offering is part of a GitHub release this week that adds to the value given to new enterprises utilizing Enterprise Cloud with personal accounts or with managed users.
Customers have had access to a time-bound trial of GitHub's Enterprise product since 2011. But this week's release ensures that new enterprise accounts can also try GitHub Advanced Security and Copilot Business free for the account's first 30 days. GitHub Enterprise Cloud and Advanced Security will be automatically activated upon creating an enterprise account. Account owners can then optionally activate Copilot Business by verifying their identity with a payment method, which comes at no cost and does not bill the customer after the 30-day evaluation period.
