Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

Since up to release 2025.1.x, in the Electricity usage card the order of "energy types" from top to bottom was:

Now from 2025.2.0, the top two have switched:

  • consumed solar
  • consumed from grid
  • returned to grid
Image

Describe the behavior you expected

IMO the display behaviour should return to the old order:

  • consumed from grid
  • consumed solar
  • returned to grid

This allows me to quickly compare both total energy consumption and consumed solar across the graph, which I now can't do anymore. (I could now do that for grid consumption, however this is not that interesting to me :-)).

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Open the default Energy Dashboard with configured solar.

Kind of makes sense that you consume solar first and then the grid is on top of it. No idea how they got swapped though. I'll see
