Usage in an airgapped environment

Should it be possible to provide an existing file at the local cache path and support extraction in an airgapped environment, or if a user wanted to provide their own suffix list for private/internal suffixes?

Not quite - I think we'd really like the option to configure our function to not query the remote sources and just use the in source snapshot, or an on-disk cache file (which could be prepopulated by us or a user).

This may be more niche than you'd like for your library, but let me know what you think.
