Computer freeze when compiling bevy.

Hi Everyone

I have this weird error where my computer freezes and becomes completely unresponsive when attempting to compile bevy.

Steps to reproduce:

• initialize new rust repo with cargo init
• cargo add bevy
• Following Cargo.toml:

[package]
name = "game_bevy"
version = "0.1.0"
edition = "2021"

[dependencies]
bevy = "0.15.2"

(also tried with bevy (0.14)

• compile using cargo run (also tried cargo check)
• Installation starts and freezes at seeminly random progress with the compiling (see pictures). Computer is completely unresponsive and has to be turned off on the power button.

Any ideas what could be causing this? Never experienced it before with this pc. I have tried to scan disk, ram, cpu for faults but nothing came up.
