Could be done with scraping the archive page since as far as I can tell this is sorted by thread date not last post date. |

Actually, it might be cool to just scrape every release and run analytics on them ("10 'AFK' filterscripts released during January!") but then have a keyword blacklist for releases that come out often (like... AFK scripts!) |
The blacklist should be dynamic or hard-coded? |
Dynamic, so admins can add/remove terms from the admin channel. If we notice a particular type of release is popping up too often we can just opt to ignore them. |
When a new thread is posted in the includes, filterscripts, or plugins section CJ can announce it in #releases
I think it'd be nice to have this but it should be restricted somehow... Perhaps only for people with a certain amount of rep (nothing big)? I just don't think it'd be right to announce ALL releases...
