Abstract

Transport telematics systems operate under various conditions. Due to characteristic nature of their application, they should be highly reliable. Many years' worth of observations show, those systems not only do require their constituting parts to function up to par, but also their maintenance has to be efficiently managed. Rationalisation of the maintenance process of transport telematics system comprising two types of periodic inspections was presented in this paper.
