Often for these VNs, it means not having a bunch of different routes and endings, instead there is a single main story that is of an amazingly high quality.
Not sure about what will be with this new VN, since it is in the early stages in terms of what has been released so far, and there are many really cute characters that I would love to see more interaction with, though beyond that, given the truly amazing story content from Echoes from Valeth, odds are that we will see more amazing content that goes well beyond romance.
All it means is there is no options. For example, if the protagonist torn between picking waffles or pancakes for breakfast in a normal VN it would give you the choice, but in a kinetic novel the protagonist would always pick waffles without giving you the choice.
Its not. It's just like a light novel. A 'visual' novel if you will. And honestly kinetic ones are the best imho. I'd be surprised if you can name me any good VN on here with meaningful choices. Most writers seem to include a few meaningless ones here and there or use it to select a character to date.
Most of the VN's are dating sims, so them having choices that involve the increase/decrease in relationship with a character make sense
There's a few that affect the world more than just that. From the top of my mind, there's Minotaur Hotel, but there might be more that I don't know, since I specifically look for Furry NSFW VN's
