Okay so i have a small obsession with Rococo style.. and it has manifested itself most recently in pony form...
Name: Fillygree
Element: Decadence
Breed: Earth Pony
Weapon of Choice: Sheer Opulence
She's a courtier/courtesan in Canterlot.. at least most recently. It is rumored she may have been found by one of the Princesses on an earthly dalliance.. perhaps as a brothel-pony in Trottingham..
Or so say her neigh-sayers.. they are clearly just jealous of the latest royal favorite.
Or, maybe she just has a rich uncle? Who knows.
Either way, this pony knows how to rock a powdered-mane! XD
Also, this is just her lounging attire.. i am yet daunted to attempt her full-gala regalia.
Microns, solvent markers and gel pen on bristol board.

Oh, Rococo! I had a professor tell me one time that Rococo is "exploded meringue" and "marshmallow peeps" art and I couldn't agree more. But I love it, and I love her. Possibly has to be one of my favorite periods in art history and one of my favorite fan pony creations!
